Paul Goydos, a long time resident of Coto de Caza and Dove Canyon won the Hawaii Championship yesterday on the Champions Tour which was formerly known as the Seniors Tour. The first place finish was worth $330,000 in prize money. Goydos won twice on the PGA tour, at the 1996 Bay Hill Invitational and the 2007 Sony Open in Hawaii. Yesterdays win also marked a tournament record at 19 under par. Paul is one of five professional golfers to have carded a 59 in a tournament round, his coming at the 2010 John Deere.
